A Black and Gold Comedy

Group Info

If you’re a group of 20 or more KEEP READING!

Do you know a lot of people who would want to attend “Ain’t Dat Super!” ?

We would like to offer you the opportunity to attend “Ain’t Dat Super!” a black and gold comedy about our favorite team’s journey to the championship at a DISCOUNTED PRICE!

The party only starts with tailgating! The show is an interactive experience that’ll have you reliving the most spectacular occurrences in Black and Gold history. Join Bubby and Matty, twin brothers, who walk into a bar and start spinning tales about how they personally got “the most unfortunate team in the history of football” to the championship game. The brothers, played by local favorites Randy Cheramie and John “Spud” McConnell, will have you trying to figure out what is fact and what is fiction in this outrageous comedy interspersed with a cast of curious locals, such as Becky Allen. Steven Scaffidi, who wrote the book-turned-play along with Nick Gambino, agrees, “I want the audience to participate in this as if they’re the fans in the stands. I want them to be part of the play.” By the end of the show, our goal is to have you say, “Ain’t Dat Super!”

Let’s face it: this event is seemingly tailor made for large groups who love theatre and/or our boys in Black and Gold. You’ll certainly be in your element from beginning to end with a tailgating party to the hilarious comedy about New Orleans’ Favorite Team. Come relive the memories of our boys in black and gold: their ups, their downs, and even some trivia that’ll have you wondering if its lore or truth. So bring your buddy, your wife, and your next-door neighbor. But most importantly, bring your Black and Gold spirit!

Is tailgating part of the show, or do we bring our own?

    Thanks

    • At the tailgate party, there will be food and drinks available for purchase. However, if you wish to bring your own food and drink, you are more than welcome to do so. Food and Drinks are not included in the ticket price. The show will start after the tailgate party has ended inside the theatre.
